GReddy Sport Exhaust from CRX to Civc Hatch?

My friend offered me a GReddy Sport Exhaust that was orginally made for a Honda CRX and i own a 90 Civic Hatch. He said he would give it to me for 400 which is a pretty good deal cause its in perfect condtion. I was just curious as to wheather or not it would fit my car or not. I looked at both exhausts(the GReddy and my stock exhaust) and they look very similar but i still dont know. Any info would be appreciated

Im pretty sure they are different. The CRX might be shorter. If you look in catalogs for exhaust you will see that CRX and 4th gen Civic have different part #'s

it will bit i have done it before the crx is a shorter wheelbase car but it will fit cause the crx and 88-91 civics use alot of the same cars and plus i use to have a aerospeed mufler from a crx i got it at my work cause i work in a salvage yard so i know lots of stuff about civics

The 88-91 CRX and Civic are similar and so is the 90-93 Integra.

But the Civic and CRX are quite different.

The midsection of the civic at the floor between the raise in the rear where the gas tank is and the ebrake cover starts....there is about 5 to 6 inches more in length there.

Then front the frame rail in the rear that the lower arms attach to...to the rear bumper is about 8 inches to maybe 12 inches longer in the Civic hatch then the CRX.

These are the areas to measure at least and how to measure them.

It's a simple extension, and then another extension at rear...but if this muffler kicks out - I would definately not use it! You would have to bend the angle out more and this could crack the piping unless someone has a mandrel bender and they are very hard to come by unless you near a big city.

i don't know about the fit. i was going to warn you about the quality. a friend got a Greddy exhaust on his '98 Civic hatch. less than 6 mos later it started sounding bad and spitting out what looked like insullation. then he had problems with Greddy not wanting to take it back. if i remember correctly, they gave him the run around for 2 mos.

from my own personal experience, i LOVE my Tenzo exhaust. it looks tite, sounds great, and bolts right on. it'll run you around $260 from a shop. every now and again i see it on ebay for like $190. if you're interested, i can send you pics of the exhaust on my ride and a link where to get one.

Yeah could i get some pics of the Tenzo Exhaust? Ive seen some from other cars and they look and sound nice but i dont know how they perform. Any info on that would be nice.
